About >

Almost two thousand years after Jesus Christ ascended to heaven, we are still here. Our Lord told us the timeline of his return, “The gospel of my kingdom will be proclaimed in every tribe, tongue, nation, and people group, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14). Even though we cannot predict the day or hour of his return, our task is clear: engaged and successfully make new, reproducing disciples among every tribe and people group locally and to the ends of the earth (Matthew 28:18-20).

According to finishingthetask.com, “Today there are 506 Unengaged, Unreached People Groups with populations more than 10,000 who are still beyond the reach of the gospel of Jesus Christ. These approximately 51 million people are spiritually lost and helpless, like sheep having no Shepherd. Among them Christ remains unknown, unacknowledged, and unadored.”

The resources in this section were developed by harvest field practitioners who have been doing Great Commission work among each unique people group and their mosaic of worldviews. We pray that God uses these cultural and religious research tools to simplify your strategy for reaching each affinity group that he plants in your path.

Affinity Groups >

An affinity is a common culture, language, worldview, or society segment. Affinity groups are networks of people who share one or more of these categories in common. The homogenous principle is that a few insiders can multiply the gospel unhindered within their affinity group.
